Eliminate soil-to-wood contact /decay with Post Protector

So why add Post Protector to eliminate Ground/Soil-to-Wood contact? Here’s one ‘pretty good’ reason:

“All treated poles eventually lose resistance to decay and insect infestation. Decay of treated poles is a gradual deterioration caused by Soil-Dwelling Fungi and other low forms of plant life. Damage by Soil-Dwelling Insect attack (termites, ants and wood borers) is considered jointly with decay because preservative treatment of wood is designed to resist both soil-fungi and insect attack.” (US Department of Agriculture)

Post Protector simply provides a physical “barrier” separating the post from soil and all the decay/degradation hazards it harbors.

Pole Barns, Decks, Fences, Pergolas or any post-foundation project!

Post Protector…. the perfect complement to a pressure-treated post!
