  • Another Victory for Post Frame Construction

There was nothing left of the posts!”

Fence Post Decay LowesLowes Post Protector 6x6 fence postsLowes Post Protector 6x6x42 fence post

Snohomish County, WA: HOA President, SL, was not happy when he learned that their fence posts had failed miserably.

“I could not believe the horrible condition of the posts. There was nothing left of them!”

That said, the 15 yr. old, 900′ fence needed to be replaced.

Fortunately, SL, visited Lowe’s of Mill Creek/1573 where a knowledgeable Customer Service Associate, sensibly suggested that the (115) new pressure treated fence posts be void of soil-contact, & all decay hazards that lie within, courtesy of the 6″ x 6″ x 42″ Post Protector.

SL sent pics of the handsome, new, cedar/treated fence featuring posts prudently safeguarded by the Post Protector ‘Barrier’ system!

Even though chemical preservatives deliver solid decay & insect protection, microorganisms/insects can find a way to bypass ‘chemical’ protection causing post failure. To complement ‘chemical’ protection, Post Protector provides ‘barrier’ protection to isolate the post so that soil-dwelling, decay-causing microorganisms/insects & when in concrete, atmospheric microorganisms, have NO post access.

A recent scientific study shows that ‘barrier’ protection increases post longevity performance by 250%+.

Fence, Deck, Pole Barn, or any post-foundation project!
